Lasagna is my all time favorite dish. It is yummy and so comforting. Although it is a tedious process to cook it, with a long grocery list; but it is so worth it.
Cheesy white sauce, and saucy chicken layered between lasagna sheets. Yum, makes me want to have it again. 😀

I always used to think that salads are boring and bland. But when unhealthy eating habits results in extra kilos on your body, one has to make healthy choices to shed the weight.
So, I tried incorporating healthy meals in my diet, and I was pleasantly surprised how wrong I was about Salads being boring and bland. They are delicious and filling too.
I made this Green Salad with Grilled Chicken, with the ingredients that I alread had in my kitchen. I was surprised to see that with just a few ingredients how delicious it turned out to be.

Parathas are wheat flour flat bread, which has a filling in the middle. The filling can be just anything you like; potatoes, cooked lentils, minced meat or even cheese.
Qeema paratha is a perfect brunch recipe for those lazy weekends, when you wake up late and it is too late for breakfast and too early for lunch.
Also when you have left over qeema, and you don’t want to have it the usual way; so you just roll up some chapatis and have it as a paratha! Sounds delicious, no?

Aaloo samosas take me back in time, to my student life. When Aaloo samosa was my staple meal along with a hot cup of tea. These samosas are filling, easy on pocket, and very tasty too.
Even though you can easily find them in Pakistan, but I love making them at home. I add tamarind pulp in the samosas, which make them chatpatta. 😀

Greek lemon chicken has to be the best baked chicken that I have ever had. We have it almost every week, because it is so easy to prep and so so delicious!
You can make this for any special occasion, for your guests, or on a lazy day when you just want to relax and not stand in front of the stove mixing and stirring the food.
I usually serve it with broccoli and zuccini salad. I will share its recipe too, soon.

My mother used to make this dish for us. In her version of the dish, she would fry the egg plants and serve it on top of the yogurt. But in order to make it healthy, I have roasted the sliced egg plant with very little oil.
I make it when my husband and I have gone overboard with our cheat days, and want to compensate for them by having something healthy and light.
It can be served on its own, as a main course with rotis. Or you can serve it as a side with Biryani or any other Pakistani main course like Qourma or Karhai. I personally like it on its own. 🙂 Here is the recipe:

Hummus has always been my favourite snack. I love to have it with pita bread and baba ganoush. Whenever I would crave for hummus, I would order it from a Lebanese restaurant near my home. Sadly that restaurant closed down. I tried hummus from other restsurants but I never really liked them.
So I thought, “Why not make it at home?”. I bought a can boiled chickpeas, tahini paste and the other ingredients. I was tasting it as i was making it, and after a lot of additions and subtractions I devised my perfect hummus recipe. Here is the recipe for you all. Every time I would go to any cafe restaurant, Mongolian Beef would always attract me. But I was always hesitant on ordering it fearing, “what if I don’t like it?”.
But then one fine day I decided to cook it for myself. I found a recipe on the internet which (according to the reviews) was same as the Mongolian beef served at PF Chang’s.
